Briar Associates were established in 1989 and have grown to become one of the countries leading independent Energy and Environmental consultants, providing a full range of services to commerce, industry and the public sector.

Briar Associates have a staff of 35, most of whom are Chartered Engineers with many years experience in utilities procurement and energy and carbon management.

Briar Associates have been a key partner within the Buying Force purchasing organisation for the past 4 years.

In addition to the on-going account management, Briar Associates dedicated account managers can:

• Investigate historical billing queries, liaising with suppliers and clients to achieve settlement.
• Provide billing apportionment and sub-billing services to landlords.

Most of Briar Associates Engineers are approved by the Carbon Trust and are therefore able to undertake Carbon Trust funded work, thereby reducing the cost to their clients and accessing grants and loans.

• Carbon Reduction Commitment (CRC) advice and management.
• Bespoke energy surveys
• Energy Performance Certificates (EPC’s) – required by law in all rented buildings.
